Maro Choi currently serves as the Accounting Manager at KIM & CO CPA, specializing in comprehensive tax consulting and tax dispute management in both Korea and the United States. With extensive experience advising foreign-owned Korean companies, Maro handles a wide range of tax issues including cross-border transactions, structuring for inbound and outbound investments/divestments, and managing large and complex tax dispute cases.

Before joining KIM & CO CPA in 2021, Maro worked as a tax legal consultant at the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, as well as at a law firm in Korea and an accounting firm in the United States. His diverse background enables him to provide expert guidance on international taxation.

Maro is a Certified Public Accountant in California, USA, and a licensed lawyer in Korea. His commitment to understanding clients' unique needs and delivering tailored tax strategies makes him an invaluable asset to the firm. Outside of work, Maro enjoys continuous learning, reading, and exploring different cultures through travel.
